Almost every evening when living in Half Moon Bay, we would try to catch the sunset at this beach, being so close to our house it was very accessible. Surfers Beach would be full of surfers catching the breaks not far from the world famous monster waves of Mavericks. This painting is inspired from a day when the waves were a bit calmer, more inviting and our little dog was strutting into the ocean with more confidence. These moments hold dear to my heart and give me inspiration.
