Golden Era

This series began during the winter months, inspired by footage of new kelp growth captured by SeaTrees divers. The videos showcased baby kelp thriving off the coast of Palos Verdes, California—a testament to the success of kelp regeneration efforts led by SeaTrees and the Bay Foundation. What began with the tenderness of witnessing this impact grew exponentially after my first experiences swimming in the kelp forests near Santa Cruz Island.
