About
Inspiration for “Big Sur II” came from a beautiful weekend camping along the majestic coastline of Big Sur. After a warm dazzling sunset, the fog rolled in and blanketed the mountains, leaving a moodiness and surreal quality. I can still feel the moisture on my face when I think of this moment in time. The original painting is one of two derived from the same sunset.
